Welcome to Greystones Music Academy! We’re a music school with multiple classrooms, based in Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones.
We cater to a wide variety of instruments including piano, guitar, violin, cello, drums, bass, saxophone, flute, clarinet, concertina, recorder, tin whistle, mandolin, singing/vocal instruction and more!
Our teachers are all qualified to take you through the grades and help you prepare for leaving and junior cert exams, but we also have lots of students learning their favourite pop and rock songs just for fun.

Niall always continues to encourage and teach while keeping his students engaged and enthused about music. I think our son considers his lessons to be as much about the jam session as the learning.

Martin listened to her interests in music and always gave her interesting, stimulating pieces to learn. I also attended a few jazz piano lessons with Niall and thoroughly enjoyed learning out of my comfort zone! I would highly recommend Greystones Music Academy for its student centred approach to learning music and especially for focusing on the fun elements of learning in order to encourage anyone’s budding musicality. I have two children enrolled with Greystones Music School, one doing drums, and one guitar (classical to lead guitar) who is now so obsessed with music he is has chosen to pursue it for his Leaving Cert. Both my kids love their lessons, they get to pick artists and song styles they like, as well as being challenged with different styles. The teachers we have had, Shane and Martin, are excellent, easy going and highly skilled, and making learning fun. Chief Niall is super to deal with. Being proficient in an instrument is such a gift, I'm so glad we started our kids' musical journey with Greystones Music School. Highly recommend.

A F18/05/2022Really great music school run by Niall. You can really feel the interest that the teachers here take in your development as a musician. They take a lot of input from you as a student as well in terms of what direction you’d like to go in with your learning which is great fun. Great place to learn and start learning as the teachers are very welcoming too!
