Kamilla Kasabian
Kamilla Kasabian is currently pursuing her master’s degree at TU Dublin Conservatoire. As a graduate of the Gheorghe Dima National Academy of Music in Cluj-
Napoca, Romania, she has had numerous opportunities to work and learn with notable musicians at home and abroad.
Kamilla has performed in chamber music and orchestral settings in different cities across Romania, Hungary, Germany, Estonia and Ireland.
Since 2020, Kamilla has been an active member of the Animato String Quartet, which has won recognition at concerts, tours, masterclasses, competitions domestically and internationally as well (Hungary, Ireland). Throughout the years, the quartet received extensive guidance from exceptional artists such as the members of the ConTempo, Arcadia and Kelemen String Quartets.
Also a multi-instrumentalist, Kamilla plays violin and piano alongside the viola and also has a deep passion for folk music. Over the years this has inspired her to learn to play other various traditional instruments, such as the koboz, guitar and low whistle.
