Multi-Instrument Introductory Course
This course offers students the opportunity to study a number of the instruments we have on offer, in order to find which they enjoy the most, or just to satisfy some curiosity they may have about a particular instrument. There’s no such thing as wasted knowledge, and learning something about one instrument can often help people become better at another instrument that they specialise in (the piano, for example, can really help players of string instruments to visualise the relationship between certain notes and chords).
The instruments that we aim to cover on the multi-instrument introductory course are: piano, guitar (or ukulele if the student is quite young), drums, violin, and tin whistle/recorder. This gives the students a grounding in string instruments (plucked and bowed), wind instruments and percussion.
If you’d like us to include another instrument, please contact us, and hopefully we’ll be able to accommodate you.
